How does IRL Social work?
The app privately notices when you cross paths with other people during the day and lets you connect, message, and share stories. Only a fuzzed, coarse location — never your precise position — ever leaves your device.
I'm not seeing any encounters.
Encounters need “Always” Location and Bluetooth enabled, and they appear after you've actually crossed paths with another user that day. Check Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services, and make sure Bluetooth is on.
How is my privacy protected?
Your precise location stays on your device. We store only a roughly 150-metre grid cell and a coarse time bucket, with an anti-stalking offset, and presence data auto-deletes after 24 hours. See the Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my account?
Open the You tab → Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your account, profile, stories, and avatar.
